Dr. Caron Walter (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience providing culturally responsive, evidence‑based care across diverse settings. Her clinical approach integrates evidence based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and strengths- based frameworks into tailored treatment to meet each client’s needs. She helps clients build personal insight, practical coping skills, and relational resilience through a collaborative process grounded in trust and empowerment.

Adolescents, adults, and couples: supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, life
transitions, and relationship challenges.

Training and Experience

Dr. Walter has held clinical and leadership roles at multiple federal agencies, where she focused on psychological treatment, employee wellness, and DEI strategy. She has designed national programs on burnout prevention, psychological safety, workforce engagement, and inclusive workplace culture.

Dr. Walter holds licensure in Pennsylvania, and is pending licensure in DC and Maryland. She currently offers telehealth therapy services and in-person services for DC clients. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University and completed her psychology internship at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
