“I believe in structuring my approach to an individual’s unique needs, which will evolve over the course of treatment”
As a licensed clinical psychologist in Washington DC, I often conceptualize treatment from a mind-body framework. Theoretically, I primarily utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach in conjunction with various techniques from other modalities. I also believe in structuring my approach to match an individual’s unique needs, which may evolve over the course of treatment. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, and also maintain specialized focus in rehabilitation and health psychology. This typically entails assisting individuals adjust to acute or chronic health conditions or disabilities.
I strive to maintain a flexible and genuine interactional style and believe people can be empowered to make lasting changes with information and psychoeducation, a supportive and trusting therapeutic collaboration, increased insight, and effective coping skills.
